Family Estates
For families looking to celebrate their legacy and keep family members together always, we have designed select interment groupings where families may purchase interment rights in multiple spaces situated together. With an eye toward a return to the tradition of the family plot, Inglewood Park Cemetery offers enclosed courts or indoor family rooms where multiple family members may plan to remain together. Ask our Memorial Counselors about how you can create a new and lasting tradition for your family.

Special Sections
We have designed specific areas where families may purchase a group of interment spaces or crypts within unique specific boundaries. With an eye toward a return to the family plot, Inglewood Park Cemetery offers enclosed courts or family rooms where multiple family members may plan to remain together. In addition, those areas designed to accommodate large upright family monuments also have the capacity to hold several interments adjacent to one another.
Overlooking the Lake of Memories, Vista del Lago Family Estates stands out as one of the most unique and beautiful locations in the cemetery. This new and innovative development incorporates both full burial and cremation options in the shade of mature trees.
Vista del Lago features 94 double-capacity niches in the Uccelli in Volo (“Birds in Flight”) Columbarium. Mounted atop the Columbarium, a uniquely commissioned bronze sculpture, handmade in Parma, Italy, depicts a flock of birds rising in flight. It also features an interior ossuary for affordable cremation placements.
This newly developed area also offers double capacity lawn spaces, family estates, and memorial benches.
Alta Mesa joins a beautiful garden mausoleum with double-depth lawn crypts. Visitors enjoy a gazebo centerpiece and bubbling fountains at the front entrance. Crossing pedestrian walks provide easy access to the lawns, and a stone pass-through creates a rear entrance to and from the area.
Built in 1988, Alta Mesa is the final resting place of local pastor and founder of the Gospel Music Workshop of America, Rev. James Cleveland.
A lawn crypt section developed in 2006, Montcrest Estates features a central family estate section. This area occupies a former cemetery road between Montcrest and Myrtle Plots, with paved walkway and plenty of shade trees on a gentle slope.
Developed in 2007 in Del Ivy Plot, Del Ivy Estates features a lawn crypt section along with family estates in one of the oldest sections of the cemetery. Lined with mature shade trees, it is surrounded by some of the earliest family plots and upright monuments in the cemetery.
Garden of Chimes Family Estates are walled sections incorporated into the Garden of Chimes Mausoleum and Lawn Crypt development. Each enclosed section is owned by an individual family and is designed to accommodate several family members. A wrought iron gate bearing the family name is a unique feature of each estate section.
Overlooking the beautiful Lake of Memories, Lakeview Estates is comprised of family estates and lawn crypts. The lower, lake-facing feature of this area is the Rosen Estate, a granite sarcophagus shaded by a granite baldechin (stone canopy).
The lovely Memorial Vista is a lawn crypt section developed in 1995, which lies between “B” Plot and Memorial Plot. It is accessible by a walkway that runs the length of the area. Former L.A. County Supervisor, Kenneth Hahn, is interred in Memorial Vista.

A Diverse Selection Gardens & Committal Areas
At Inglewood Park Cemetery, you can choose from a number of magnificent gardens, courts, and other committal areas, each architecturally distinctive and inspiring.
The Mausoleum Del Prado was built in the late 1950s and combines wall crypts and cremation niches. In 1986, we added the Garden of Little Lambs in front of the Mausoleum, specifically designed for infants and children.
Located in front of the del Prado Mausoleum, which was built in the late 1950s, the Fountain De las Flores committal area features distinctive artisan tile work adding to the beauty of this structure.
Set among lovely greenery with a backdrop of juniper trees , the Garden of Prayer is located in the southwest corner of the cemetery, on “J” Plot. This kiosk Columbarium features granite-front niches of double capacity designed to hold two urns. It provides inurnment and memorialization in an open-air setting.
Alcove of Sunset, located in the lower level of Sunset Mission Mausoleum, is a cremation columbarium featuring bronze and glass-front niches and a beautiful, back-lit stained glass window by Ancient Arts Studio. The Alcove is situated in the lower level committal area where smaller funeral parties may gather to hold a service prior to entombment.
Distinguished as the first implementation of non-visitation crypts at Inglewood Park Cemetery, Capistrano Garden was built in the 1960s. Its crypts are below-ground, with memorialization in the panel garden at ground level. This concept was also utilized at Westminster Abbey, Sunset Mission Mausoleum.
Capistrano Court is an extension of the historic Mausoleum of the Golden West. The first phase of this project, begun in 1993, is comprised of granite front garden crypts, as well as a covered columbarium of bronze and glass-front niches accessible directly from the Chapel of Palms. A fountain, patio area and greenery offer a peaceful place for rest and reflection. Phase II, begun in 2001, is an open-air garden crypt section, including one private family room, and accented with statuary, plants and trees.

Celebrations of Life
Within our Chapel of the Chimes is the recently-renovated, multi-purpose Celebrations of Life center, a versatile venue that can be used for funeral or memorial services (seating capacity 60). But is also functions as a small reception area for weddings, christenings, reunions, anniversaries — all of your Celebrations of Life. It offers seating capacity of 50 to 75, depending upon the configuration. A hallway off the chapel area can be used to set up light refreshments by one of our preferred caterers. In addition, the space is available for meetings, seminars, group sessions, etc.
